Atenção dedicada aos detalhes musicais e visuais são características ressaltadas pelos críticos quando se trata da banda FROST DESPAIR (Symphonic Black Metal), e não poderia ser diferente no lançamento de seu primeiro full álbum nomeado ‘Surreal’. A capa recentemente divulgada foi desenvolvida pelo artista gráfico Marcelo Vasco, responsável também pela capa do Ep ‘The god delusion’ lançado em 2011, além de inúmeros trabalhos com bandas como DIMMU BORGIR, KEEP OF KALESSIN, DARK FUNERAL, entre outros.
O artista Marcelo Vasco comenta sobre o desenvolvimento da capa: “Essa ilustração para ‘Surreal’ for forjada através do conceito geral do próprio titulo e ambientada da maneira mais suja e caótica possível, mesclando elementos biomecânicos, natureza e ciência onde tudo se transforma numa espécie de núcleo bestial e psicológico”.

FROST DESPAIR releases Artwork and track list for their first album
Brazilian Symphonic Black metal band, FROST DESPAIR revealed the track list and artwork for their first full-length album, Surreal, that will be released early in 2013.
Artwork was made by Marcelo Vasco (DIMMU BORGIR, KEEP OF KALESSIN, DARK FUNERAL), he commented about it: “This illustration for 'Surreal' was forged through the general concept of his title and acclimated in the most dirty and chaotic way, mixing elements biomechanics with nature and science where everything becomes a kind of bestial and psychological heart.'
