Brillaba el sol en el retorno a Quito desde un concierto no concretado; y fue ahí cuando decidimos juntarnos para empezar esta insaciable lucha, que mas tarde se llamaría PRIORATO. Siendo tomada la fuerza en nuestras cuerdas “Chingo Chingues” y “Caluco Roldan”, (Bajo y Guitarra respectivamente) empezamos a dibujar el firmamento de nuestras de nuestras primeras canciones. Conociendo a Carlos Espinoza como baterista contamos con su colaboración en los primeros meses de la banda y con el pasar de las semanas “Luchifer”, se integraría a nosotros con su vital colaboración en guitarra. Al pasar ya 6 meses grabamos un Demo experimental de 3 canciones; el tiempo corría las canciones se lograban y nuestras intenciones se distanciaban, siendo esto motivo de la salida de Carlos Espinoza, mas aquel que reina nos devolvió a nuestro hermano “Andrés Cárdenas”, logrando él alcanzar todas las piezas de este motor llamado PRIORATO. Con la llegada de Andrés (Bateria) la banda se solidifico y alcanzó aquello q buscaban con resultados inmediatos, además se estableció “PRIORATO” como nombre de la banda. Tomando actitud y rigidez en nuestros deseos se empezó a grabar nuestro Demo Promocional con tres canciones, al contar con tres meses como banda trabajando con el nombre PRIORATO, obteniendo resultados muy positivos para nuestras aspiraciones musicales, puesto que el apoyo recibido por parte del público fue más allá de lo que esperábamos. A inicios de 2009 se hablo de la posibilidad de grabar un disco, y en abril de 2009 se empezó con la grabación de nuestro primer disco (Camino al priorato), siendo este terminado a mediados de año; El disco consta de 10 canciones, y esta a la venta por 3dolares con 50 centavos precio en Quito-Ecuador, recargos adicionales para envios fuera de la localidad.

With the arrival of Andres (drums) the band solidified and reached what looked results also established "PRIORATO" as name of the band. Taking attitude and rigidity in our desires, began to record our promotional demo with three songs, to have three months working as a band with the name PRIORATO had very positive for our musical aspirations, as the support received from the public was Beyond what we expected. In early 2009, talked about the possibility of making an album, and in april 2009 began with the recording of our first album (Camino al priorato) and this completed by mid-year. The Mid-November 2009 Andrés Cárdenas leave to participate in the band and was replaced by Gandhy Villareal, who with his energy elevate our sound. The band's sound is based on the idea of not limiting our musical performances, knowing mix our personal feelings with the theory of individual staff members, learned to walk several bands in Ecuador, knowing also leverage our diverse but shared musical influences PRIORATO to create sound.
